Uruk-Hai / Orc sword, with scabbard / sheath, listed price or best offer (OBO). I'm the original owner of this sword, which I bought in 2005 from a sword website that's no longer in business. The sword was an import from Pakistan, as I recall (or might have been India). Although there are a small number of uruk-hai swords available for sale online, I'm only aware of one seller that sells one with a scabbard — very important if you're going to be wearing your costume for a long time (e.g. for haunted house work, LARPing, or movie-making). The scabbard, which is easily hung from a belt, opens and closes using sturdy metal snaps, to accomodate the uruk-hai blade's unusual shape. The sword, in scabbard, is ~32.75" (83 cm) L x ~7.25" (18.5 cm) W x ~2.5" (6 cm) D, and is just under 4 lbs. And no one these days, as far as I'm aware, sells an uruk-hai sword like this with its patterned blade. The brutal-looking blade marks and the resulting darkened color really help to sell this as a Bad Guy Sword, vs. other orc swords that use good-guyish shiny steel. The blade's edge is not sharp, but the spike at the end of the end of the blade is, and due to the weapon's sturdy construction, one could do a lot of damage with it, so it's recommended for responsible owners only. The only area where this uruk-hai sword is less impressive compared to other versions is in the pommel wrap, which is black, rubberized, and not fantasy-period-accurate. However, I much prefer this pommel and its wrap to the less comfortable, more accurate designs currently available. The sword is heavy steel, and for me, the very substantial, yet comfortable grip was a key feature. The grip is also large enough to hold the sword two-handed if you want / need to, which is nice. The condition of the sword and scabbard is essentially unchanged since I bought them, and they were only used once, for my orc Halloween costume. While I've owned them, they've been stored in a clean, non-smoking, 1-person, no-pets household (and my storage units), out of the light, to prevent UV-fading. The other pictured pieces of the orc costume are not for sale, although I will be listing a bunch more Halloween costumes, decorations, and art, once I get a chance to sort through my storage unit some more. Thank you, and please also check out my other items for sale !
